To inculcate this value to our students, an Expo was organized on 11th of February, 2016 to display the ancient things used by our ancestors, to cherish their history and to remember them.
Due to advancement in technology, many new inventions and up gradations have been made in the different ware we use in our day to day life. Though these technologies and advancements reduce manpower and increase the speed in execution of work, the wares found and used by our ancestors were the base for all the inventions. The traditional or the ancient things used by our ancestors would definitely have scientific reasons behind their usage and are precious. In order to give our children the exposure to antique things, old coins, clocks, radio, phow pieces, olaichuvadi, Ware to crush the beetel leaves, different ware to measure the rice etc were collected from the students and teachers in the month of January, 2016 and were exhibited in common in the month of February. This activity not only gave them awareness but also kindled their thirst to learn and to explore more.
