St.Joseph Blind School,Paravai
“Kindness is a language that deaf people can hear and that blind people can see” – Mark Twain
Learning to love is the most valuable lesson a child can learn in his life time. At QMIS, to inculcate the values of caring and sharing the Kindergarteners were taken on a visit to the St.Joseph blind School in Paravai. The travel started at around 10.30am when we entered into the School the teachers and children were very emotional. It was a touching moment to see children express their love. We assembled in their prayer hall. Our students started with the prayer song ”God’s love is so wonderful” after our prayer they started to sing a Tamil prayer song.
Braille is a system of raised dots that can be read with the fingers by people who are blind, they showed our children how to write and read. Our children distributed all goodies that they had brought from their home.
This visit was indeed a memorable one that melted the hearts of both the teachers and the students. They thanked our children for their gifts and love.
Children came back to the School around 12.30pm and spent a moment to thank God.
“Thank you god for blessing us much more we deserve”.
