PDP Report on Multiple Intelligence at classroom learning

The teachers of grade 4 to 9 were made to attend a session on Multiple intelligence at classroom learning so that they would identify the student’s interest and help them perform well in a holistic manner. The concept of multiple intelligence and about the way Howard Gardner developed a theory of multiple intelligence utilizing the aspects such that cognitive, psychology, anthropology, sociology to explain the human intellect was shared among the participants.
The session covered the below topics :
– Learning styles
– Types of intelligence
– Liguistic, Mathematical, Spatial, Bodily- kinesthetic, Musical, interpersonal
– Benefits of identifying the students based on multiple intelligence
– Realtime examples of their own class students and their behavior in terms of positives and strengths.
The teachers were participative and gave instances of their own students and probed the reason they being so and were
able to relate to those multiple intelligence aspects.
