Children’s Day celebration (14.11.2017)
“Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, make this world a beautiful garden”.
Seeing the smile on every child’s face is the most wonderful thing in the world. The enthusiastic teachers of QMIS were involved in planning a full day of fun for the children. All the teachers came together to decorate the bulletin board with heartfelt wishes for the children.
To entertain the children, teachers gave two sizzling dance performance and the male rockers of QMIS had us roll on the floor laughing with their realistic depiction of classroom scenarios. The best part of the day however was the extraordinary performance given by the students of Kamak, School for the hearing impaired. It was truly a rich learning experience as how one should be content with what God has given and also make the best use of the given talents. Children were awestruck in witnessing the dazzling dance moves and theatrical skills exhibited by the students of Kamak. “Dancing with the feet is one thing but dancing with the heart is another”. Just by keen observation of the given instructions by the teachers the children danced with grace and style and captivated the hearts of the audience.
Ms. Shamila Doris, General Secretary of YMCA also gave a briefing on the services they render. As a token of love and appreciation children took away some useful goodies.
“Children are the best creation of God, they spread joy in every season”.
