73 rd Independence Day Celebration at QMIS.
We proudly present the report of the 73 rd Independence Day Celebrations at our premises.
It was a grand gala occasion which provoked patriotic feeling in us when we celebrated this festival.
The gracious occasion started at 7.15am with Thamizh Thai Vazhthu. Our National Flag was hoisted
by our honourable Chairman Dr. C. Chandran. The Flag Song was followed by the Welcome Address
delivered by Guhan Kaalai, the Prime Minister of the School Parliament. The highly Prestigious
Swearing – in – Ceremony of the Office bearers of the Student Council stole the show. The House –
Mistress honoured the captains and the vice captains of their houses with their batches.
Tamil speech, presented by Krithika of Grade 10 about the hard earned independence was the
reflections of the past. The eye-catchy demonstrations of the Memorable Martial Arts presented by
the students of Karate, Kungfu, Taekwondo and Silambam were mind- boggling and a feast to the
eyes of the audience. The Chief guest’s address presented by our Chairman was a splendid, thought –
provoking speech which inculcated a deep sense of information about Pro – Independence Struggle
underwent by the National Leaders like Subash Chandra Bose. He stressed the importance of moral
education that the students ought to take from the school and be proud of being the applaudable
product of our esteemed institution. Vote of Thanks proposed by Thirupathi, the Deputy Prime
Minister of the School Parliament gave an epilogue to the celebration. National Anthem ended the
show leaving the reminiscence glow in the minds of the audience. Hats Off to all the National
