Parent Teachers Conference – 1
An effective parent-teacher partnership can make a significant difference in the child’s education, and the start of a new semester is an ideal time to refocus this partnership. A parent’s well-planned involvement in a child’s education can make a big difference.
It is important to approach each parent-teacher conference as an opportunity to refine the child’s individual learning plan and to make sure the roles of teacher, student and parents are clear, specific and designed to bring out the best in the child. With all the support rendered from the parent’s side the PTC which was organized in three phases have been a grand success. PTC phase 1 for Grade 9 was held on 11.10.2014. PTC phase 2 for KG 1, KG 2 and Grades 2 and 3 was held on 18.10.2014. PTC phase 3 for Grade 4-8 was held on 25.10.2014.
The schedule commenced promptly as per the time slot allotted to the Parents. The class mentors and the subject teachers resided in their respective venues to discuss about the students with the parents. The morning session and the post lunch session went on smoothly; the parents and the teachers came forward with a bunch of enthusiasm and curiosity and interacted with each other about the children on One-on-One basis. We could observe the cordial conversation that focused mainly on the children’s academic performances and other Co-scholastic areas.
