Parent Teacher’s Conference Report
A child is like a butterfly in the wind. Some can fly higher than others, but each one flies the best it can.
Each one is different. Each one is Special. Each one is beautiful.
A special day for any child would be the day when the child receives appreciation from the teachers in front of the parents. One such occasion where the children as well as the parents are made to feel proud is the Parent Teachers Conference.
We at Queen Mira International School strongly believe that such Parent Teachers Conference creates a common platform, where teachers and parents come together to augment the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of the child. As it is the end of the academic year, and the child needs to prepare for the next fresh beginning, both the parents and teachers share the responsibility of shaping the child for that.
The PTC was conducted in three phases on 31st of March, 1st of April and the 2nd of April. On the first day it was for KG II, grade I, IV and Grade VII A. The 2nd day was for grades II, III, V and VII B. The third day was scheduled for grades VI, VIII and IX. Around 63% attended on the first and second day. On the third day it was 79%.The parents walked in with question marks on their faces and left the campus with exclamatory marks. Thus the event turned out to be a successful one as it did meet the 3 P’s of the Parent Teacher’s Conference- Personal, Positive and Productive.
A teacher should inspire a child to reach academic success; a parent should inspire their child to use that success in a way that influences Positive change in the world.
