Queen Mira International School’s – The Little Emperors ’18 – Season – 4
Competitions are one of the best things that give students a creative room to express their innate talent they possess. The length and breadth of knowledge they gain through this is simply unparalleled. QMIS has set a bench mark for conducting competitions in such a way that the students not only enjoy, but do learn a great deal from it. One such event was „The Little Emperors ‟18 – Season 4‟with the theme “Around the World”.
115 schools and around 1500 partakers vied for honours
Principals of last year‟s winning schools, Chairman Dr.C Chandran, Principal and Vice Principals of QMIS lit the lamp of spirit and inaugurated the event. The event had enthusiastic judges who carried all the competitions with a great zeal. They gave a chance for the participants to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just winning a prize. The competitions were categorized into Modern Wonders (2 – 3years), Medievel Wonders (3 – 4 years) and Ancient Wonders (4 – 5 years). RJs Yogi and Jilla Jacob from Radio City were invited to host the event in a fascinating track. They kept the spectators and the verve partakers entertained.
As always this TLE season 4 saw an amalgamation of artwork and poetry of footsteps. Though every participants had a bundle of enthusiasm and talent displayed, due to a collective teamwork, overall First Prize was bagged by Velammal Bodhi Campus CBSE, Muthuthevanpatti. The Second place was shared by Prince Nursery School and Velammal Vidyalaya, Viraganoor and the third place was shared by Om Sadhana Central School, St.Michael Higher Secondary School and Velammal Bodhi Campus Anupanadi. The overall winners were awarded with the cash prizes of Rs.25, 000/-, Rs.15, 000/- and Rs.10, 000/- respectively.
It was glad and awe to observe that the partakers aimed not for the prizes but to gain substantial experience, showcase their talents and to analyse and evaluate the outcomes. The Chairman of QMIS Dr. C. Chandran and Mr.Vignesh Kumar, Senior Vice President- Marketing Express Public (Madurai) Ltd appreciated the participants for their hard work and the schools for demonstrating the spirit of sportsmanship.
