Objective : To Know about Natural calamities and their effects.
ISA activity on Natural calamities was organized by Students of Grade 6&7. The students were offered this experience by doing research where they could prepare a project or chart work on any one natural calamity. In order to widen their knowledge and to portray the cause and effect, the students were motivated to do a bulletin board display compiling different types of disasters and the various steps to prevent such disasters from occurring. As part of this activity, students were encouraged to explore creativity in the form of dance thereby depicting various forms of nature and suffering from such natural calamities.

ISA COORDINATOR REPORT
This ISA activity was organized in order to create an understanding among students about natural calamities and their cause and effect relationship. Since there is a plethora of information to learn on this topic, projects were given to students as it deepens and enhances student learning and absorption. This project had taken brainstorming to greater heights. The students were able to think in a broader perspective of linking this activity with sustainable development goal of “Climate Action”. This made them to think more and beyond which indeed makes learning better.
